It’s pretty opaque, so I dub it a fancy paperweight (not worth terribly much/carat if that’s your main question).

Thank you Jack appreciate the follow up yes I put a light behind it in the last picture to show little transparency as it could be a Synthetic Stone.

Looks like one of those highly treated (dyed) lumps that abound on eBay in blue (sapphire), red (ruby) and green (emerald).
Supposedly certified....hmmmm.... and around $50 (my eBay in Australian) with free shipping.

I was once sent a ruby, an emerald and a sapphire by a vendor as a present! They’re worth next to nothing I’m afraid!
