I bought this spinel from Gemrite last week. .67 ct, morogoro tanzania. His photos were accurate, mine are a little dark, but it does show both sides. It shifts a little toward peachy in incandescent light, and is like one of those marshmallow and pink coconut covered cupcakes in daylight!

Nice color! I think you got a really good stone here!
I bought only one stone from GemRite (guess which one?) and it was reasonably priced, nicely colored and beautifully cut.

I love the color, and I can't wait to see what you do with the stone !!!!

I looked at that stone multiple times !!!!
Glad you got it !
It is lovely, and I think John is wonderful to deal with !!!!
I bought my purple Spinel from him and a pink one also, that I love ....

A happy coloured cutie - for a while there, I assumed you began this thread to discuss our quirks with regards to some sort of cleaning or gem display rituals.

Again, very nice stone VL! :D

Do you have plans for it?

Very, very nice! I looked at this spinel every time I visited Gemrite, and it's so nice to see that it's as sweet IRL as the cupcake you compared it to.

I was able to get some outdoor shots that I think represent the color well. That is if the PS photo smasher doesnt wash them out.
