Hi there. I''m confused...... It seems as though the numbers overlap on the chart. If a pear shape diamond has a table of 55% and a Depth of 63.7% , and a length width ratio of 1.47... Using the chart.. How is the cut defined?? Thanks!!! Abbott

Fancy shape stones, should be examined in person.

The numbers do not accurately indicate light return....fancy shapes are far less predictable with numbers than round ones are.

Find an appraiser that sellers will send to without you paying for it, that way your only cost risk is the shipping.

Table percent is the percentage of the total width.
Depth percentage is the fractional ratio, percentage, of depth to width
Depth is table to culet
Length to width ratio has NO effect on either of the above.

I don''t think I properly asked my question... If the pear has a 55% table and a 63.7% depth... How is the cut classified ?

Ideal Cut, Premium Cut,International Fine Trade Cut .US Domestic Average Cut Below Average ... Where does 55% fall. Do you read the numbers in the chart as greater and smaller???
