Here's my little squirrel baby that husband rescued a few weeks ago, both his mom and sibling were later found dead, so sad. We really were not planning to keep him but he's gotten so attached to me that we decided to keep him. Today he got his new condo a double story critter cage that is huge. It's 3ft x 2 ft x 5ft. There is a middle floor that we'll be taking out now that we see it's not required. This pic has his temp cage that hubbs made. It worked well for its purpose. Honestly I did not see myself as a squirrel mom but he's so easy to care for. He's sweet, almost cuddly, he definitely likes me. The poor girl watching him while we were out of town got her finger bit unfortunately. She was so excited to see how he interacted with me, which is not what he had planned for her as it turned out. Bummer. She had been raised with a squirrel so had hopes that he'd cuddle up to her. He didn't.

They aren''t furry but they''re my babies...

male/female Madagascar Ground Boas (fairly rare outside Madagascar) Beautiful, docile, so easy to care for. I love these guys! I also have another male. They''ll eventually reach about 10-13ft, they''re about 4 now.

Thank you, Amber! You are right! He is just as sweet as pie! I tell him that all the time, too.

I was in a parade with him last weekend, with a greyhound rescue group, and he was loving every minute of it. Everyone wanted to pet him, and he wanted to meet everyone too! Lots of people couldn''t believe how sweet and laidback he was! They all are. Well, most of them, I should say!

Ok, I''m done bragging about my little sweetie pie!!

This is my furry little monster, D.O.G. He's HUGE now, I need to take new pictures. Here are two from when we first got him, he was three months. And another few from when he was older-6 months or so. He's 9 months now and about 60 lbs.

Please excuse our chewed door casings-our other dog was unhappy one day.
