Free GIA Essentials Courses

Thanks you all for sharing this again! I’m going to do the pearl one. I know little about pearls.

Has anyone taken the Pears As One course? How is it?

My friend took it and said it was really good. I started it and thought it looked excellent but I was too busy to do it at that time. Worth checking out, for the price ;)

I enjoyed reading/watching videos about the history, how they are created, harvested and readied for market....more so than the marketing aspect, which was in the last section so I skipped.

I hope they open this up again!

@Asscherhalo_lover I relieved my AJP diploma as well. They may be sending a whole batch out at a time because I did not complete the course until the first week in July. I am going to frame it today....!

I did this (Pearls as One) a few years ago and loved it! I'm sorry I missed the GIA course - I would have loved it.

For anyone still wishing to do a GIA course, I encourage you to apply for a scholarship! I received one once, and as a Canadian I am only eligible for one. The American applicants have more chances to be awarded a scholarship. Give it a shot!

Thank you again for sharing this @pearaffair, I just completed my third and final Essentials course!
