Fragrance of the Day Thread

Jo Malone Scarlet Poppy. Not crazy about it but it's one of a zillion tiny perfume vials I'm working my way through. Sometimes I like a scent a lot better after a couple of hours but not this time. My favorite Jo Malone so far is Wild Bluebell, which I have a large bottle of.

I have a small bottle of Jo Malone "Wild Bluebell" and a small bottle of her "Red Roses", but I am clinging to the few remaining drops of her "White Lilac & Rhubarb" which I bought partially filled on eBay years ago. I was desperate for that cologne! It is by far my favorite.

Yesterday and today I'm wearing Mona d'Orio Vanille. This house just recently ceased business which makes me very sad. I'm very lucky to have this bottle (I originally bought 2 for well under retail when they were 100ml) but now down to the one bottle and when its gone, that will be that.

Its such a gorgeous scent too.
OMG! I have a large red unopened box, still sealed in plastic, of "Les Nombres D'or. Vanille". I had no idea that the fragrance was no longer made.

@AGBF,
Our calamansi fruits are finally ripening! One is nearly ripe; an unusually large one is still a bit green.
Only 12 fruits this time around. Sometimes we get a lot more. I need to remember to fertilize it.

I have lots of JM White Lilac & Rhubarb, more than enough to share. I can mail it by First Class Ground if you are in the continental USA. Postal regs don't allow us to mail perfume by air.
I authored the stickied "Stringing Tutorial with Photos...." on the other pearl forum in the Lowly Beaders Club section. Message me there! =)

I just bought a bottle of the orange blossom and blackberry sage. The orange blossom changes fragrance on me. I’m a little bummed. Love the blackberry sage.

Do you mean Blackbery & Bay? Or is there now a Blackberry Sage fragrance too?

Love Blackberry Bay.

Oh gosh...well, those bottles are going for big bucks now.

HI:

WOWOW! Didja see how this thread came to life? AGBF and @Arcadian :wavey: we were all waiting for the (vintage) bottles to be unearthed and and and AND all us PS'ers who love scents can once again enjoy!

cheers--Sharon

I can't use a lot of bodywashes, but I used to love the tuberose scent in a certain fragrance. I cannot remember the brand.

And spray scents don't hold on me. Let's find products that work, and continue to share!

If your old perfume smells spoiled, spray a few into a clean bottle and add a bit of good vodka. Takes a few weeks to a month but I've brought a scent from the 1970s back to 95%.

I am not sure where this place is. But that is a very, very kind offer.

I found a forum I never knew existed and found you. I also think we are not only in the same state but very close geographically. I live in part of Greenwich, CT but recently joined two female friends (one from Westport and one from Fairfield) on the bridge near Tiffany's in Westport for a No King's Day celebration.

It is a small forum, but mighty for pearl knowledge!
I replied to you there.

Hermes herbes vives. I’m obsessed. It is marketed as a men’s perfume, but I’m a really girlie girl and I love it!!

I'm going to have to go sniff it at the counter-- it sounds interesting!

I don't know when I will be in a store with a fragrance counter again, but I am also curious about this (as is @pearlsngems). I wear one scent frequently that is sold as a men's scent, although I don't think I originally encountered it as a men's scent. It is "Eau de rhubarbe écarlate" by Hermes.

Yesterday I tried on some Le Labo fragrances.
Can someone share their opinion about Le Labo Fleur d'Oranger 27?
It reminds me of my childhood when neighbours' orange tree was blooming...I was totally in love with the smell!!!

I just sprayed some on since I couldn't remember the scent. I like it. I never had the experience of being near an orange tree, but I really like the scent. I never wear it and I really could wear it often. It isn't heavy.

@AGFB, I replied on the other forum. :)

Today my scent is JM Fresh Mint Leaf.
