The adrenaline is subsiding. I just won an auction for an alexandrite necklace that looks pretty to me. It has a GIA report, but I want to send it in for an AGL origin. Is there any point in doing that? The stones are small, but the color change looks strong, and I love the soft green color. I know I should have check in here first, because I’ve never bought an Alex before, and have only seen lab ones in person, but it was an auction and I thought $2100 was an ok price considering there was a cert for the largest stone.
Thanks for the feedback.
