He just got them in because people were asking for them notice there being sold as gemstones and not in his diamond section.
He has plenty of cut diamonds up for sale.
By your responce I may have done him a disservice by posting this here with the title the way I did.
Several people here have asked for rough diamonds to use in jewlery or as conversation peices so he is repsonding to that demand.
I thought they were kewl so I posted this here.
He isnt actualy a rough dealer as such he is a cut diamond and gemstone dealer who got some rough in for those that were looking for it in its rough form as a gemstone.
He is a good dealer to work with and Iv bought gemstones from him in the past.
hmmm yes I think they would sell but 500ct is a lot and wouldnt likely move very quickly.
If diamondexpert moves those fairly quick maybe the 2 of you can hook up and bring in some larger lots.
I wouldnt mind having one in a kewl color for a pendant for my Lady :}
Thats one thing kewl about getting married is I will have an excuse to buy gemstones! :}
Hi guys - thought I would jump in here before someone gets the wrong idea...
These stones are not for cutting, but for the gem collector who likes the crystal habit of diamond (i.e., octahedrons), or as a curiosity or for a piece of jewelry...after all these stones were formed at least a billion years ago and originate from some famous mines!!
Strmrdr: I also have them in my polished section, just to perhaps catch the eye of the casual surfer.
woops my bad i didnt notice them in the polished section....
But it doesnt change the reason you have them up for sale which I was trying to clarify and you did further.
