I''m an insurance agent in the state of Virginia. Chubb used to have a push to write "standalone" jewelry policies but now like most companies they prefer to write your other business as well. For coverage on your jewelry talk to your auto carrier first. You may need to get a renter''s policy which sometimes provides a discount if your home and renter''s policies are together. The jewelry will usually be added on to that renter''s policy or could be a seperate policy but they will still require having all of your coverage in order to write the policy for you.
