Fluorescence! an observation.

After I wrote that last night I got out all my diamond jewelry - and lo & behold I have many glowing diamonds. Who knew?!

Any chance you could capture those colors with a camera? That would be really cool to see!

I just bought a small LED UV flashlight and checked the 2.43ct VSB and it's phosphorescent

It emits a yellow/white glow after the UV is removed. It's quite mesmerizing to watch actually. I also checked the eternity band and the small diamonds are mostly non fluorescent but about 5 have varying degrees of blue, and one has yellow/green

I tried to capture it on camera/video but the sensor on my iphone just isn't good enough
