Wedding First day wedding dress shopping tomorrow

Woohoo! I''m so excited to get into that shop

I have two exams from 10 until 3 and then myself and my mother are going dress shopping. I''ll try and take pics if I''m allowed in the shop. I''ve bought the tan, really unattractive big knickers and I''m all ready to go

Mimzy-I can''t get to the shop that sells the 930 tomorrow-I''ll probably have to wait another few weeks as it''s about an hour away. I can''t wait to try on the 930 though-I kind of feel like tomorrow is a practice run for trying on that anjolique dress

Thank you so much for all the well wishes! First for the disappointing news-I could not sneak any photos

They didn''t even have a mirror in the changing room so for the few seconds I was left alone, there wasn''t even anything I could do. For the good news-I love wedding dresses. I tried on eight of them today and I adored six. I''ve been trying to find photos online of the ones that I tried on and here are a few of them.

Fist up, Benjamin Roberts from his Tia collection. (this is the same guy that makes anjolique in the US). To be honest, I''m not 100% sure if this is the dress I tried on, but it was very similar and it looked 100% better on me than it did on the model (lol modesty for sure

)

Actually I really don''t think that was the one that I tried on as mine didn''t have that thing to the side where it goes up. It''s like that one but doesn''t have that thing. I also tried on number 58020 from the Robert Joyce collection but I can''t seem to find the photo of it anywhere else. It''s about number 36 I think in the book viewing on his website here This was my mother''s favourite but I''m not too sure-I think it was a bit much.

I tried on this Maggie dress also but in an ivory colour-it was beautiful on.

So after trying on a few dresses, it seemed to be that the dresses that suited me most were the ones that were fitted to just below the waist or to the top of the hip and then went out a bit. I''m not too keen on anything too sparkly or with too much going on. I love veils and after trying on all different types of veils, I love the really long ones. I loved six out of the eight that I tried on, so I have a feeling that I will probably not find "the one", I could have easily gone home with three of them today. Now I just can''t wait to go shopping again!

And second, oooohhhh, I LOVE the last dress you have up. Sans the flower, I think its awesome. I especially love the sweatheart neckline.

Thanks dcgator! It sounds weird, but I actually kind of like the look of that flower-it might be different when I try it on but I think it kind of adds to the dress. I''m actually off to Edinburgh for the weekend as we have a bank holiday weekend in Ireland but I''m hoping to go maybe the weekend after! Thanks again.

It's a great dress that's very flattering - I had tried it on when I was dress shopping and liked it a lot!
