I have more but it wont let me upload anymore lol i guess i hit my limit for this post, Now for the Specs, It is A RB solitaire set in a simple white gold, the stone is H in color SI1 in clarity and is 1.02 carats. The prongs are a little weird, and get caught on everything so i think im gonna take it back to the jeweler and have it fixed, but other than that i really like it, but im already looking forward to my upgrade :-) this was a temporary stone/ring until he could afford the real thing, he wanted to show me that he was serious about us and that he wanted to get married when we were done with school, he wanted to give me a promise ring but i told him no cause promise rings are bad luck. So he decided to propose :-) yayyy lol The ring isnt what i wanted i wanted a princess cut with channel set diamonds on the band but he didnt listen to me he like the solitaire RB so thats what he got me. But i dont care i love it anyways, there are so many bands to go with a soiltiare so i can play around with that. But for now this is my ring hope everyone likes it.

P.S can u comment on what you all think about the prongs? thanks!!!

nani, it''s beautiful and classic and what fun it will be to play with different bands!! As far as the prongs go, they do seem pretty high, especially in the one pic. If they are catching on things I would take the ring back and get that fixed ASAP. You don''t want anything happening to that gorgeous stone!

You have a gorgeous ring! And I am glad that you love it even though it was not what you wanted initially. Maybe the diamond is set too high? My ring is much lower and I rarely snag things. Good luck and keep us informed.

Thank you so much!! I was beginning to think no one liked it cause i had no responses :-( I know the prongs are high, i asked them to set it low and then didnt listen to me, wen i upgrade i will make sure they set it much lower. They told me that if it was set lower so light would be let in and the diamond wouldn''t sparkle

Hi Nani, your diamond is gorgeous and it will sparkle no matter how its set - i''m sorry to say but the jewelers'' advice is just plain outdated!
You should get it set the way you like it, not the jewelers'' preference - personally I like them alot lower, both for aesthetics and safety

either way, it looks very pretty on you and congrats on the engagement!

I completely agree with you, i like them lower set as well, im going to go to the jewler today and ask them to fix the problem, i hope they dont charge me!!

It looks beautiful!!!!!!! I love mine and have 7 bands I switch out & stack for many different looks.

What a beautiful diamond. You should be very proud. I love the band! I think the stone is set way too high. You are so right...go to back to your jeweler and be assertive! :)

Gorgeous ring!
