I got some gem and handama akoyas and black spinel and made a bit of a fancier chain with some wire wrap. I think pearls and diamonds look great together!

So my new covid hobby was apparently getting into pearls and beading at home haha.

Still experimenting with pearl and chain layouts for the pendant before I commit to solid gold chain and findings given god prices right now and seeing how I’ve already gone through 3 different layouts.

So after all the different chains and station chains I decided on a plain chain looking best for laying haha. Go figure.

3.11 ct GIA graded Fancy Grey set in a rose gold and Tahitian Mother of Pearl pin/pendant setting. I love that the changing fire of the diamond plays with the changing iridescence of the pearl.

Yah! I love that since it’s a pin I can pin to a wide band and wear it as a bracelet too. Even a hair band works in a pinch!

Haha funny because it can be very true! I find a lot of variations depending on specialty though.
