So after 15 months of searching I ended up with a GOG signature stone in a 6 claw platinum mount. I live in the UK and took a trip to NY to buy the ring & make a holiday out of it. GOG's customer service was amazing, so thank you once again David, Jonathan and Stephanie for being incredibly patient, not pushy at all and showing me everything I wanted to see, including stones I made it clear I only wanted to see out of interest, such as solasfera and an august vintage.
I bought a .65 ags 000 F VS2. The only inclusion is a crystal, which are tiny ones as opposed to one big one. Also from what I can tell they actually look to be clear as opposed to black, it's completely eye clean anyway. It's considered a 'high f' in my opinion and David's. I saw it side by side next to another F and a D, it clearly fell inbetween those two colours, I do not think I would be able to see any difference in colour if it were a D now it has been mounted.
The performance of the stone itself is incredible and much better compared to anything available in the UK.
I could talk much more about just how good the service was but I don't want to write an essay (David even gave my partner & I a lift to the train station for my journey back to the hotel).
I have also hopefully included the AGS lab report incase anyone is interested to see the full details.
For anyone that lives in an area that doesn't have premium stones such as this I highly recommend making the trip, the top cut stones really are as good as people say.
Finally thanks to everyone on here that has helped me over the last 15 months to reach a purchase my partner & I are extremely happy with. I'll still continue to lurk around the forums though
