Yay!! It isn''t huge...I can''t afford huge, but I finally got a YELLOW DIAMOND!! I''ve been wanting one for ages, and I finally decided to spring for one. It is being put in an existing mounting I have (which is by no means ugly) until such time as I decide that I need to do something else with it. It is a .75 carat fancy light yellow.

Congratulations on your new "baby." It''s gorgeous, and as they say, "better late than never." I''m glad you splurged on yourself. Please post pictures after it is set. I love colored diamonds!!! By the way, I think a .75 carat fancy yellow diamond is huge!

And one more...

It''s beautiful karen! I love the light yellow color. If I had to pick between a vivid and a pale yellow, I''d pick the pale color for sure!

Wow!! I`m usually not into yellow diamonds, but that light yellow colour is just gorgeous!!

I''ll be sure and post pics when it''s done, which won''t be until the 25th, and I''m going to be out of town so I won''t be able to fetch it until the 28th. Grrrrr!! Waiting is HARD, y''all!!!!

What a lovely colour. Is it a DBL diamond by any chance? If so then it''ll be an excellent cut and like a little disco ball! What are your plans for it?

Gorgeous!

I am searching for my very own yellow, too. Do you mind sharing thoughts on your search? where did you look? what did you look for? how did you narrow down your options?

Thanks!

That is very pretty

Is DBL doing the setting, or are you having it done locally?
