I have bought a diamond before sans report, but not over 1k.

Maybe have your purchase contingent on a lab report? See if maybe they will send it off?

No luck on being able to get the ASET from the ERD on a white background, but there is a video on the link below. They were nice enough to explain why and also explain the ASET to me. I am still however unsure with respect to the ASET and I was honest with ERD about this. I was also sent to iPhone IdealScope images which showed up mostly white but I was explained that IS are meant more for rounds and not fancy cut diamonds.

Pick two. Ship them to you. Pick the one you like best. There is seriously no substitute. You cannot pick based on pictures and videos. The price of shipping is nothing compared to the possibility of going with the cheaper diamond, picking the stone you like best, and the peace of mind.
