Hello All,

I decided to purchase my ring from Whiteflash.. Due to their upgrade policy, price, setting, etc. I'm considering between following two diamonds only.. Can you please provide me some input?

My setting will be this one..

I am getting a lot of good information from this site.. I bought a ring from si1 graded Bluenile, they assured that it was eye-clean, but there was a large black crystal right on the table so i returned it. Then I found this site. :D

Well goodness, you've got two beautiful options there!

Same price. Same diameter, same policies.
G SI1 AGS0 vs. H VS2 GIA-EX.
Is the SI completely clean to your personal specifications? Ask WF to vet it for you if your definition of "clean" differs from theirs:

No inclusions visible face-up at a distance of 8-10 inches in natural lighting to a person with 20/20 vision.

If the SI is clean to your requirements that's my choice, just because it's higher colour and it comes with the more prestigious report. There's no "performance-related" reason to prefer one over the other.

I talked to the WF gemologist. She said inclusion on the g stone is not visible from the top, however may be visible from the side within 10 inches. She recommended the H stone because it would be almost impossible to tell the color difference with setting, and the H stone has better spread, slightly bigger, and has lower price. I'm leaning toward the h stone. Is this a good decision?

Then get the H.
I have complete confidence in WF's representatives' abilities to judge stones per their customers' priorities.

I see no reason to get the G over the H in this situation. Go for the H.
