Not exactly. We live in the Laurentian mountains about an hour north from Montreal, my sister took these pics going up the hill to the cliffs. It''s lovely, we can see all the way to the city up there!

Fresh snow is pretty, but ice on the roads and power lines is not a good thing!

I had the kids in the snow playing and Maya loved it, was racing all around, and we did get out for dinner...kids hoping for another snow day today but who knows? I ran to the ski store today because I realized we needed stuff for our trip to Aspen next month, and the store was jammed...the roads were slushy and gross but people were still heading out for sure...
