IMO you''ve given him the opportunity to have some say in future decisions about where you''d be going to school, and where you''d choose to live. He''s chosen not to participate. Fine. That just means that YOU get to pick, and he can either fit in or not. He passed up his opportunity to have a say.
I''d just decide where I wanted to go to school, what program I wanted to be in, and what city I planned to live in, and TELL him.
