So, you have this extremely thick girdle. It may be difficult to set correctly and small diameter for weight.

Also, that's a gigantic table. Not my cup o' tea.

Lucy, that diamond has a diameter about the size of a 1.75 ct. diamond. The average diameter of a well cut 2 ct. stone is 8.2mm. It is very deep and the table is huge. You want to try to find a diamond that has a depth of about 60-62% and a table of about 54-58%. You want the girdle to be thin, medium, or slightly thick. Then there are crown and pavilion angles that figure into the decision as well. But that gives you a place to start looking!

ETA: and look for very good or excellent polish and symmetry. Most people here prefer GIA ot AGS certificates for reliability.

Thank you for all your comments.
