I''ll play... (So what if I don''t have an E-ring. To heck with the rules!)

Boston_jeff''s amazing cushion is exactly my taste. :)

As is:

(are we seeing a trend?)

Hudson_hawk''s oval:

And my all time favourite: Ephemery1''s oval
EphER8.jpg

And as for rings that I never expected to love, these two surprised me. When I started coming to PS, I said I couldn''t stand pear and marquise cuts. But FG''s re-set is amazing!

And autumnlala''s E-W marquise is just breath-taking:

Oh, and I can''t forget lotsofsparkle''s Tacori

Wow, this is waaaay too hard!

My rings are in my avatar, round in a Leon solitaire with Tiffany Legacy band

These are off the top of my head...mostly either simple and elegant or antique styles...I am sure I am leaving out a LOT, though! Too many to post pictures!

favorite asschers or square cuts: Ellen''s aqua, Gypsy''s, Musey''s

Emerald cuts: Diamondfan''s Tiffany, Fran Fine''s Leon, Tacori''s Tacori

Cushions: Mrs. Salvo''s DK, Boston Jeff''s Leon

Favorite round settings: all Leon solitaire settings, all WF Legato Sleek Line settings, LynnB''s, Lisa''s round with pears from Tiffany and the ones made by Leon, Surfgirl''s and all other antique style stones, all Van Craeynest

Xray Doc and Orange Horse Fiance had some of my favorites, too, and I think one was cushion and one was asscher, maybe. I love Widget and Art Nouveau''s collections, too!

I''ll have to really think about my favorite ring that is not my style.

I can ditto DS..no surprise b/c we''ve discovered our tastes are pretty much identical.

I will add Cutey''s Michael b as a fav. that is my style:

Yeah, I''m surprise you even found her picture. There was something fishy, either her pieces weren''t real, or they weren''t hers. I believe it was the latter, her last few threads were suspicious.

Now you''ve piqued my interest...off to research...

Yeah...something was off there...

I think she was photoshopping rings onto her hand??? Something like that...

I don''t know, she did start a thread with ''the pink'' but it was pulled. I remember the pictures of the pink looking like they were on a fake hand, a la the stock images at Fay Cullen.

(Freke, anyone really, could you please check in on my dress thread? I need all the help I can get)

Ooh, this is fun! I love so many already posted, so I'll just stick to those I love that haven't been mentioned yet.

I'm like TG- I prefer sleek, modern looks. Below is my ring- 1 ct. RB, platinum basket solitaire setting. Ignore the band it's next to (I have better pictures, but couldn't find them on PS):

Not my rings, but very much my style:

Kaleigh's amazing Tiffany round with pears:

Harlowqueen's stunning Harry Winston asscher:

And a ring that isn't necessarily *exactly* my style, but that I loooove anyway:

Thank you SDL, Deco and Delster. I am beyond flattered....this game is too hard for me! I''ll take anything that is up for grabs

It seems that I've removed all the pictures I had saved of rings I especially loved here on PS, but I'll try to recall who's they were.

My new number one favorite, and just my style, is Ellen's aqua. Absolutely, hands down, one of the best rings ever to appear on these threads. Beautiful simplicity and a fabulous stone. It just doesn't get better.
30.gif
(Really like the e-ring as well; I've seen some gorgeous fire in that diamond!)

My all time drool-worthy favorite of the e-rings is a tie! I don't know which is more gorgeous: Fran Fine's phenomenal Leon EC or Boston Jeff's stunning cushion solitaire. OMG! I've never seen more beautiful diamonds; at least their photos make them look the most amazing of any of the PS diamonds.

For individuality and romanticism: you gotta love Surfgirl's ring. There are a couple of other really lovely antique rings here on PS, but none give off the fire of Surfgirl's diamond. Wow!

And for 'sets' that blew me away, and I'd wear in a 'New York minute', Lady Amethyst's Asscher w/ CrisCut eternity band. Luscious is the word for that look. And Po10472, I've always like the 'unusual' look of your e-ring paired with that major-bling of a band. The stones in that band are yummy!

And I almost forgot ericad's OEC! Oh my!

Well I don''t have an e-ring yet either but I''ll break the rules and play...

My fave is Gastro''s Mark Morrell 4 prong. Ooooooooohhhhhh I just love it.

And one that I didn''t think would be my style but looks absolutely fabulous and I love it too - band and all is BECG''s gorgeous set.

Holly, I truly am beyond flattered here. I knew I loved it the minute I saw it, but honestly, I never dreamed so many other people would. And to hear comments like yours here, well, it just kinda leaves me speechless, and very touched.

I also love Scarlet's ring bc of the East west, and Boston Jeff's for the beautiful simplicity. Can you tell I have a thing for cushions? LOL
Oh and I adore Neatfreak's sapphire!! That's my next project!

Not my normal style but everytime I see NewEnglandLady's avatar I get excited...

This was "the collection" (minus one large amethyst/diamond pendant).

Wow, she did a pretty darn good job photoshopping - it isn''t terribly obvious.

Well, I don't recall any final determination on it - but some pics (on close inspection) seemed altered. I do recall someone saying that particular appearance can be a digital artifact.

My impression was that the posts weren't written by a woman.

For my style, I love Choro72''s ring and the van craeynest ones like this one:

I am not as big into WG platinum nor do I like larger stones (blasphamy, I know) but for not my style, I love Widget''s art deco looking pieces

LOL @ the thought that some guy wanted to seem cool with a bunch of sparklies. That''s hilarious. And now that I see the fullsize picture of the pink, it does indeed look photoshopped. Weirdos, out there.

Oh my, that pink one is definitely photoshopped. And not well either. But when they were smaller it was VERY hard to tell. The posts just sounded weird.

Oh well.

My ring:

My favorite PS ring that is my style is diamondnut''s AMAZING Leon. It''s exactly what my ring wants to be when it grows up.

Well, it is so hard to narrow it down to a few, but I will give it a try.

Rings I love that fit my style

Ritani's micropave ring, I love them all, here is TeeTee's as an example, similar to this, I love the Tiffany Novo.

Alright, I could go on all day with this, I will stop now.

Rings that make my heart skip a beat, but are not really not my personal style.

My set (whenever BF proposes!) will be a Leon solitaire, modified to be flush-fit, with a plain platinum band. So obviously I love all the Leon solitaires on here, and I also love the MWM solitaires. If I had to pick one above all others it would be Harriet''s
30.gif

Rings that are my style that I love - Ellen''s Aqua, TravelingGal''s Jeff Cooper, but most of all Ellen''s X-Prong
30.gif
Delster, I decided to go through the whole thread again, just to look at all the pretties, and realized I missed your post! I wasn''t ignoring you! Thank you SO much for the lovely compliments, I really appreciate them. My rings thank you too!

I think I would have to vote for Boston Jeff as well, that stone is just amazing!

Fun game and GREAT eye candy. I''ll have to mull it over...my "style" changes often!
