What's the going price for a 3 stone platinum anniversary ring (traditional setting) with the following info on the diamonds? -

Center stone is 1.75 D VVS2 Ideal Triple zero (000). AGS certified with papers.
Two side stones are each .82 E VVS2 Ideal Triple zero (000). AGS certified with papers.

Thanks.

Are the sides 0.82 each or 0.82 total (about 0.41+0.41cts)?

So... I would say $1,300 for the setting, $22,000 for the center stone and $10,000 for the sides (0.82 each), or $2,800 if they are 0.82cttw. So the total would be (approximately, of course) about $33,300 for 0.82+1.75+0.82cts or $26,100 for 0.41+1.75+0.41cts.

Yowza... and that doesn't include the Turbo Charger!

Edit: I find it curious, now that I'm a "Cut Rock" level

, how many people try to find 'market price' for an entire e-ring with the barest of information as if you could look it up in one master matrix or plug it into one easy formula. I wish it were that easy.

Thanks to all who are responding. I know there is a lot of other info I could provide regarding the diamond specifications, but I just wanted to keep it simple for the forum. Thanks again.

I hope I didn't offend... it's just that diamonds, e-rings... totally not a simple thing. This forum... even further from being simple.

The more info the better off you are.

Also, if your appraiser verified that what you got is what you wrote... you got some high quality rocks. The price you paid is uncertain, but at least you didn't pay BANK and get lousy stones right?

I dunno... if the shoppers are educated going into the process, then YES... you can be comfortable with a variation in price and quality.

But clearly, there's right to be a little peeved if you feel you paid too much or were misled if you didn't have enough information prior to purchase and THEN discovered PS.com.

So how much did you pay?

californiamom, you have exceptional (and quite similar) tastes. I have to say that those are very nice stones but you can certainly drop your cost $7000-9000 by going with lesser color (like F) and clarity (VS2/SI1) and still be "colorless" and "eye clean". In addition, you can also get better performers that are more likely to produce greater brilliance, fire, scintillation, etc (i.e. H&A AGS0s).

Just my .02 but seems like you may already have your eyes on those beauties... so cost is not an issue to you.
