Need some help in deciding on the stone in platinum setting with pave setting.
The stone i ordered but didnt look at proportions is 1.03ct triple Ex GIA G VVS1, no fluorescence. Proportions are not of an ideal cut. It has a table 59, depth 60.8, crown 32* and pavilion 41.6*. When checking with HCA it gives a score of 4: Very Good. Good. Good and Very Good for its 4 parameters.
I went back to get another stone. The best one within my budget is G VS1 1.11Ct triple excellent GIA BUT with faint fluorescence. However this stone has better proportions: table 57, depth 62.2, crown 35* and pavilion 41*, HCA score is 2,4.
I am totally lost and confused what is more important: clarity, no fluorescence and premium cut or perfect cut with faint fluorescence with slightly more inclusions???
Faint fluorescence is looked at as a discount in D to G colours, will it affect the value of the ring?
The ring is by the way from a high end brand.
Or should i ignore both stones and look for another one?
Thank you for your advice!
