eye candy red flash amethyst

This is a gift to wifey2b''s mom as a thank you for taking care of wifey2b after her surgery.
Took a while to get it too her but she finaly got it.
The setting didnt come in while wifey2b was down here so she couldn''t take it back with her as planned.

Face up it shows a light star but doesnt window.
Pretty typical of this stone when cut in rounds.

As you know I several more of them in my collection waiting for an occasion to set them and give them away :}
Before seeing the red flash material I always viewed amethyst as pretty boring because most of the stuff on the market is pretty dull lifeless.
These stones rock!

I think if more people saw these there would be a lot more people that love them.
There really is no comparison with the typical stones on the market they flat out blow them away.
The downside is that they don''t come in very large sizes, there are some larger red and blue flash stones from elsewhere that rock but the price is rather high too.
