Hello All,

I have a few questions on two stones that I am Interested in.
Both stones are GIA certified (round)
Stone #1
Measurements - 7.42-7.49x4.53mm, Weight - 1.54, Depth - 60.8, Table -55.7, Girdle - Thin to Med, culet - .6, Polish - VG. Symmetry - VG, Clarity - VS2, Color - G, Flour - None, Crown Ang - 34.5, Crown Ht - 14.7, Pav Ang - 40.4, Pav Dep - 42.4.
Stone #2
Measurements - 7.38-7.41x4.53mm, Weight - 1.50, Depth - 61.8, Table -57, Girdle - Med to Sl thick, culet - ..2, Polish - EX. Symmetry - VG, Clarity - VS2, Color - G, Flour - None, Crown Ang - 33.2, Crown Ht - 14.3, Pav Ang - 41.1, Pav Dep - 43.2.

The HCA Score for Stone #1 is .6 and Stone #2 is 1.5.

DIY Cut Grading Report from Gem Appraisers is as follows:

Stone #1
Table - 1A, Crown Ang - 1A, Crown Ht - 1A, Pav Depth - 2A, Girdle - 2A, Total Depth - 1A, Pol/Sym 1A. "FINAL GRADE 2A"
Stone #2
Table - 1A, Crown Ang - 2A, Crown Ht - 1A, Pav Depth - 1A, Girdle - 1B, Total Depth - 1A, Pol/Sym 1A. "FINAL GRADE 1B"

I was not able to post everything on one post.


1. Would inclusions be visible at the VS2 level clarity?

2. I noticed Stone #1 recieved a higher HCA score .6 and a lower DIY grade 2A and Stone #2 received a lower HCA 1.5 and a higher DIY grade 1B. I am a little confused about which is the better cut stone. Can anyone comment on this?

3. If the inclusions on both stones are not eye visible, which would be the better stone/value? The price is the same for both stones.

4. Can someone post a dim cal report for both stones?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
