I like the lime green--it would give it more of a summery vibe. However, I really like the eggplant. I''m using eggplant, and it gives everything such a rich, elegant feel.

On the slate blue, I think you want to make sure it''s more blue than gray, because I''m not sure I like gray with the warm, gold-ish tones in your reception room. (I''m just judging from the picture you put up.)

Ooh, that''s a gorgeous bouquet. I''ve seen bridesmaid dresses in that dusty dark purple color, and I''ve really liked them; unfortunately, I can''t think of what designer they were. Maybe Watters?

What color would you wanan put wit the egglant?? the slate?? anything else with it?? a beige/cream color??

My hardest problem is what in the world I'm going to do as BM's dresses. I can't find anything that I like, that really accents my dress.

You can see that my dress already has some dark ivory in the bow and hem, along with regular ivory in the bodice-skirt-and hem. This is one reason we were worried that slate wouldn't work. Also, to keep in mind that I'm getting married in a Methodist church, which is primarily Red. I'm more worried about things matching the ceremony site, than I am about them matching the reception site. Does that make sense?

ETA: I'm really happy that you girls love the bouquet as well, but will it really look good with red carpeting in the church?

I think the slate would go good, you just need a lighter color too.. like the peach... maybe the peach, eggplant and slate i think would look pretty....

About your BM dresses... what are there sizes... I have some dresses in mind... I think you should possibly do a material that is kind of like the ribbon on your dress...I think something very sleek would look really elegant and wouldnt take away from you...

there are some really cute Betsey Johnson dresses too.. But Im not sure if u want long or short dresses... I like to be different and think the would look soo cute in a BJ dress

Wow, BB, you are amazing!!

The first red one with the belt, is going to be a bit too modern for the style of the wedding. I really like the purple one that comes just below the knee, but I''m still a little iffy on the purple/plum with all the red in the church.

I really apprecitae your help. I''m going to find a picture of the inside of the church so you can see exactly how much red I''m talking about.
