exchange mounting

Hi everyone,

I had my 1.25 ct. pear shaped diamond taken out of a plain band and put into a new ring. I love the layout of the diamonds and gold because it is rather unique but it is two tone and I wasn''t totally in love with that part of it. Although I usually wear white gold I thought that I would like it more once I took it home and wore it. Well I don''t. It has only been a couple of day so is it possible to exchange it?
