Everything looks really thin/cheap on size 7.75 fingers.

Does anyone know aprox. how thick of a band looks appropriately proportioned at larger sized fingers like 7.5+? I am noticing a great number of rings that I "thought" would look fantastic, actually end up looking very thin/cheap. There are numerous rings out there with 1.8mm thick bands that just appear tiny on that size finger.

Tacori's are all almost universally dainty in that 1.8mm range but I adore the way the Dantela (2620) looks. How do I go about selecting a setting when so much of what is out there is so petite?

Does anyone feel comfortable sharing some hand shots (maybe this is a show me the bling thread?) of 7.5ish rings that look propitiational and maybe sharing some specs?

haha I have a size 4.5 and think anything under 2.5mm looks thin and cheap on me. My e-ring is 4mm wide and my wedding bands are each 3mm-ish. I don't think I own a single "nice" ring less than 2.5mm wide. I made them double the width of my e-ring band, actually, so if you like a ring, always inquire if that's possible. Otherwise, just keep looking and trying on!
