At first I thought your set was perfect just as it was, but after seeing the picture of the royal asschers next to your asscher, I can see why you wish it was more fiery and brighter.

Would it be possible for you to upgrade your solitaire to a royal asscher? If that isn''t feasible, then I vote for the Tiffany deco setting. The tapered baguettes echo the step cuts in your band and ''ties'' the look together without looking too matchy.

Hi everyone! Sorry I never got back online last night, I got really busy & didn''t get a chance.

Thanks so much for all of your feedback!

Some of you suggested that maybe I could trade my stone in for a Royal Asscher. As much as I would LOVE to do that, the diamond dealer we purchased from only sells their own diamonds - they don''t just call in anything one can find online, they purchase a huge inventory of their own & you can buy or trade from them, so I can''t just tell them to find me a Royal Asscher. in fact, when we did look at rings (we only looked for a day) I had seen a Lucere somewhere else, and really liked those, but the dealer didn''t have those or square radiants, so we ended up with my generic asscher because I really liked the cut-corner square shape. I think that as much as I love step cuts, I am really missing the sparkle of a brilliant cut in my center stone. I probably should have kept looking for a Lucere or Royal Asscher, but we didn''t have time, and I didn''t think I''d see the difference between the RA and generic asscher, but now I do. Plus, I am already on my 3rd asscher (trying to find the perfect one) so I''m thinking that if I trade again I still might not be happy until I have a brilliant cut. I thought about trying to find a nice square radiant to keep with the clipped-corner look, but I know the face-up size will probably start bothering me too -

Now that I have the fakeys at home, I keep putting on the RB in deco setting and am just in love with it. It''s funny, actually, because when we got my asscher, the sales girl brought me a Jeff Cooper setting to try that looks really similar to that one, but I really wanted a solitaire at the time - spend the $ on the biggest diamond possible & upgrade the setting later was my thought

Still though, I think I am going to probably go with the Tiffany deco with a center RB.

By the way, I really love Evelynn & February Bride''s 3 stones, and I was really thinking of going that way, but I think I may still not love my center asscher, and plus the step cuts are so hard to keep clean for me (I have a baby - hands in Balmex 20 times a day ;)

I think maybe I''ll just get a gorgeous 3-stone RA or EC right hand ring as an anniversary gift some years down the road

I think the tiffany deco is the right choice for you and your band. I hope that you adore it!
