Engagement Ring Help!

Hi all! My brother is about to get engaged and could use some help buying a diamond. His GF has fallen in love with a halo type ring from Hearts on Fire. Not sure what it looks like, but round diamond in a halo setting. His budget is 10k max and I just know that he can find a fabulous diamond and pop it into a halo setting and probably save some money instead of buying from HOF. I don't think either him or his girlfriend are super knowledgeable about the 4cs yet, and I don't know too much about rounds, but I know they can pretty much go by the numbers (I have an oval, so not sure if that's true). Any advice would be much appreciated. I told him to check James Allen, and they are going to Jewelers Row this weekend. Thanks!

I copied these figures from @Lykame .

Depth 60-62.3%
Table 54-58%
Crown angles 34-35 (up to 35.5 can sometimes work with a 40.6 pavillion angle)
Pavillion angle 40.6-40.9 (sometimes 41 if the crown angle is close to 34).

Only consider diamonds within these parameters and you should be good. Buying from an online vendor will save him some money. Many jewelers do a setting like HOF halo, Victor Canera may do it best. If your bro goes with VC he needs to also buy the diamond from him. Check out this thread.
