I honestly have no idea, only that it's platinum. :(
He likes simple lines and have always said he prefers solitaires over any other setting. When he saw that the jeweler had this in stock when he picked up the stone and it fits me like a glove, he was sold.

Thanks! I was at a local nursery when I saw this beautiful Dahlia....I took the pot to a corner and snapped this picture. It had to be quick because I didn't want anyone to think I was crazy! Lol

Thank you! My fiance bought it from the local Asian jeweler / family friend for our anniversary. I have a smaller one (around 5ctw) that I just gave to my mom. My current one is around 11.11ctw, with 26 diamonds.

Congratulations! What a beautiful diamond and an elegant solitaire setting that truly allows it to shine, I LOVE the size of your diamond and how it looks on your finger. And DANG how it goes with your gorgeous 11ct tennis bracelet- I might faint! I have a 3-4 ctw tennis bracelet on my "someday" list but boy now I feel like bumping up the carat weight haha!!

Hubby is an engineer by trade (a Vulcan when it comes to emotions) and was dead set on a simple band. He wouldn't have it any other way. Lol We can't afford brand name styles, but luckily have a good friend who owns a jewelry store so he was able to help us with all our pieces. I don't have much, but, dang, I sure enjoy wearing what little I have!
