Today he popped the question at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore. After a breakfast with friends, we went to the National Aquarium. He got down on his knees by the water and asked me to marry him. After, we had a helicopter ride through Annapolis. Then arrived back at the friend's house to a suprise party.

Thanks so much everyone. I am finally home. It is too dark to take more pictures, but I will take more tomorrow...just because I can. Will also reply to everyone in a bit...need to unpack and get into bed. I tried to take a good close up tonight but need more light.

Diamondseeker2006, happy to share specs

Here are the ring specs:
Center: 1.04 VS1, I color, large culet, GIA 6157724813, 6.33 x 6.10, 61.4 % depth, table 52%, (Antique) Cushion Brilliant (old mine cut) purchased through the wonderful Wink Jones.

Setting: the french halo from Ritani. Platinum with .25 tdw. I asked for double claws and they apparently made a faux double claw. The diamonds seem well matched in color and size.

There is also a small hole in the bottom (not easily visable) made during casting but I am not going to sweat the small stuff right now. I am overall very happy with the ring.
