Hi - without being able to see the stone, it's a bit tough for anyone to comment or answer your question. Do you have any images you can share? Structurally, an SI1 shouldn't be a concern - but in general, because they're step cuts, emeralds are pretty unforgiving when it comes to being able to see inclusions, so you'd really have to see the stone and decide for yourself if it's something that you'd be happy with.
