Hello all! New here. Found a seller another bride recommended to me at etsy. I contacted the seller, checked his refund policy and started a nice dialogue. Great prices and his work looks very nice. Anyone know anything of this seller's work? The engagement ring he drew for me looks beautiful but I just don't want to pay out my hard earned money for crappy work. EJ collections, too good to be true or should I give it a go?

Think virtually all etsy jewelers -- and other jewelers, too -- have (understandably, in my view) the same kind of no-refund policy re custom orders, so I think it will be a challenge to find a jeweler with a different stated policy. At least off the top of my head, I can't think of one who pledges to refund the purchase price of a custom designed pieces that a customer decides s/he doesn't want.

Amazingly enough (seems crazy to me), however, David Klass does not charge you until the project is completed... unless his policy has changed in the past year or so. He is definitely known here on PS, with many customers (albeit not all, but don't think there is a vendor alive who has pleased everyone all the time) happy with his design sense, craftsmanship, and reasonable prices.

I understand the no refund on custom orders. I just wanted to really know if anyone used this seller or knows of his work. I'm just nervous about getting ripped off. Still going to stores as well. Trying all avenues! Lol!
