E-ring upgrade to 3 stone halo :)

Hello lovely pricescopers

I recently went through the process of upgrading my engagement ring to a 3 stone with halo. I should have the final product in my hot little hands tomorrow and no one in my circle of friends or family understand my excitement. I handed in my original engagement ring and stud earrings which were used in the upgrade a few days ago and my ears and hand have felt very nakey over the weekend.

It's taken about 10 weeks from the original sketching process, to CADs, seeing the wax and unpolished models and hopefully tomorrow seeing the finished product.

Below are the CADs and a photo showing both the original halo engagement ring with the unpolished 3 stone ring without the central diamonds.

I'm excited to see the final product tomorrow, hopefully the diamonds are set low like I specified. Will update this thread with a photo tomorrow.

She certainly has some finger presence, no chance of getting diamond shrinkage syndrome with this chunky thing

Hi @Kaycee2018 the centre diamond is .90 ct and the side stones are .60 each.
The .90 is more original engagement ring diamond and the side stones were earrings. I am a J1/2 or 5 ring size

Are you looking at doing something similar? I'm in love!

Thanks for the info. I am actually working on a RHR that is very similar to yours, but with round halos. It should be done in the next few days . I love the unique shape of your halos and the size suits your finger perfectly. Congrats on your beautiful upgrade!

I'm Australian as well, @Mina-Lo - tho I've been living in the Uk, then the US for almost 20 years now. But I definitely still remember how difficult it was to find good jewelers. I'll keep a mental note of this one; as you would have seen, there are often Australians on these boards looking for a good jeweler.
