I don''t recall ever asking for Pscope "dust" before ... but I''d like to humbly ask for some now. I know pup threads are hard for many so I won''t go into too many details but my sweet baby girl is scheduled for surgery tomorrow on both of her back legs. She has had a lot of trouble walking since before Xmas & has been on total bedrest & being carried everywhere (except potty time). Its a birth defect but the lameness happened all at once. We''ve had her on meds & have gotten a 2nd opinion. No change. The surgery is very necessary. Will be done by a specialist. Have found a way to pay for it. But I''m still falling apart a bit out of worry. Worry for the surgery itself ... worry that I won''t be able to keep her calm enough for the next two months/keep her from needing additional surgeries. Worry that I''m going to stress her out more by being so emotional & anxious around her.

Can''t even express what she means to me. It is truly like living with my own personal fairy. I love her so much. Any & all dust would be very appreciated. Thanks!

Aw Deco, I am so sorry to read this. I am sending tons and tons of fairy dust for your precious pup. Please keep us posted on how she is doing. I will be thinking of you.

Linda

Deco, my STRONGEST thoughts and prayers are going T''s way, please keep us posted. I know how hard it is and how anxious you must feel but you can do this and you are doing the right thing in getting her the help she needs.

Hugs to you and kisses to precious!!!

Sending tons of dust to your precious girl. May both her surgery and recovery be quick and without any hiccups.

Deco, my vats of dust are here for you, I can''t even imagine your worry. I''m thinking of your darling and keeping you all in my thoughts.

*duuuuust*

Sending lots of dust your way for your pup tomorrow.

***dusting***

I am dusting for you and your pup, please post more news as soon as you can tomorrow.

Will she be coming home after her surgery or staying overnight? If overnight I like to sleep with an inexpensive towel so that it smels of DH and me and give it to the vet he/she can put it in with the pet staying overnight can be reassured by your scent. (sorry if tmi)

Sending dust...hang in there Deco and Deco''s sweet pup.

Sending dust your way deco!

Thanks so much you guys! Tallulah would lick you if she was currently awake. I hear her little snores & am glad she''s not watching me attempt to bawl silently/still.

Because its both legs (knees specifically) she''s going to be there tomorrow night AND Friday night. I asked if she could keep her favorite doggie toy with her. Its almost her own size & in the shape of (ha) another doggie. She had the same toy with her when she had her fixin''. Hopefully it will give her some comfort since DH & I can''t be there & aren''t even allowed to visit

(because it would stress her out if we came & then left again w/o her).

***Dust***Dust***Dust***

I know how immense the worry can be when you have a pet that is suffering. I will keep you guys in my thoughts!

Oh Deco - so sorry to hear that your sweet baby is going through this, and that you are too. Thoughts and prayers and all the dust I can muster are outgoing for you and for your sweet little doggie - I''m sure she''ll come through it all like a champ!

I''m not usually a good PS duster (so many other folks are much better at it, I leave it to those kind souls) but I have always loved your girl from her avatars. So...

*dusting*

Deco,
Sending my strongest vibes, prayers and dust to you and your Pup. HUGS!!!

Poor Tallulah. I hope the vet will allow her toy in her cage when she is getting better. I am sorry she has to overnight (twice!). It is perfectly understandable why your heart is breaking. Little Lena went in last month, just for day surgery and I when I picked her up she was in such a bad way; although I was delighted to have her home, she was so groggy and so sore that I worried I could not take care of her post-op. I felt so bad that if I could have overnighted her I probably would, just to be sure she was ok. So what I am saying is, perhaps Tallulah staying at the vets is a good thing as you can be sure they will take care of her, and can cure her if she is sick after. Once she is home then she will be more able to receive your love and cuddles.

aw deco, i''ll be sending prayers your way too. I totally understand the unconditional love you can have for your precious puppy and how scared you are feeling right now. You are a great mama though and you will do what it takes to keep her on bedrest making tomorrows surgery worthwhile. Little T is going to come though with flying colors!!

I''m sorry Deco! Poor puppy baby! Huge amounts of dust are coming your way for a successful surgery!

Tons of dust heading your way. I think I understand exactly how you feel about her. Please keep us posted!

Oh Deco, I''m so sorry

Tons and tons of dust for you and Tallulah! I hope she rebounds very quickly!

Lots of dust - your pup is super cute. Is she having surgery for luxating patellas? I think I remember yours is a papillion and they have similar problems as Cavaliers. My cavalier had surgery on one knee at a time before she was a year old for the same thing... They didn''t happen at the same time, but one within the other within a few months apart. I was sooo scared both times she had surgery, but I swear she may whine when I leave the room, but she is the toughest cookie when she is in pain! Hoping your doggie gets through it (and you do too!!)

Lots and lots of dust for your sweet pup Deco...

Sending you lots and lots of doggy dust! It must be such a hard time for you. Our two doggies are the light of our life, and our little man Bailey has been sick lately. He has been having little fits and they think it''s epilepsy

It''s such a scary feeling when they are sick and you feel so helpless. I will be keeping your little one in my thoughts and fingers crossed that she pulls through ok.

As a fellow doggy lover you will understand this quote :

There is nothing in this world quite like the comfort of a dog''s companionable (sp?) sigh.

I just get this, everytime I snuggle with my monster babies *both labs* they give me this beautiful sigh, that I am just so happy to be snuggling with you Mummy. Soon, your baby will be home and snuggling with you too. *hugs*

oh Deco... your poor pooch! I am sending you and your girl all of the ps dust that I can muster!
