thanks for the info !!

i met with LM personally and put down the deposit and signed the work order right on the spot (on 12/1, exactly one month after you!), so i'm counting down to the projected January 7th-12th !

gorgeous ring again ! beautiful at all angles !!!!

does the halo have the same width as the band ? the proportion is absolutely PERFECT !!!!

Congrats! What ring are you getting? Are you in NY? I forgot to mention that the ring was finished on Dec. 8 and they sent me the final balance then. I overnighted the payment so it arrived on Thursday the 9th, and they sent the ring out overnight the same day. It was supposed to arrive on Friday but . . . thanks to wonderful FedEx, it did not. I got it on Saturday the 10th. So that was my FULL process, if you're interested! Which you're probably not!

I'm not sure about the width of the halo; I just got the standard 811 "Winston-style" and didn't customize (except I wanted it eternity, not 3/4). Even though waiting was excruciating, it gave me something to look forward to! You'll be so happy when you get it!

i am also getting the Adrianna 811 ! but it's an RB stone with cutdown pave and with no melee on the gallery (donut), and 3/4 eternity band... i literally live 10 blocks away from LM's studio in NYC so as soon as it's ready i'm handing him CASH and take the ring with me right away ! so i guess 5 weeks for me will be on par with your time frame, plus 1 week of xmas vacay for LM - that would put me at 6 weeks or so !

congrats again on such a gorgeous ring again, a closeup of the profile is requested by me if possible !

It's breathtaking!! Wow, that halo is perfect, the size of the stones are the perfect complement to your center stone - not too big, not too small, just right! It looks so beautiful on your hand, you must be really happy!

Purplesilk you took the words out of my keyboard, what beautiful hands.

Those broad flashes make the AVC another of my absolute faves. I love step cuts and rose cuts because I prefer big flashes over sparkle (don't even know if that makes sense) and the AVC is gorgeous for that - I was eyeing some hungrily on Jonathan's inventory.

This is a lovely example and the great thing about Leon's halos is that they are light and airy. Just perfect.

Thank you for all the compliments! And you all make me feel so good about my hands, which I think are weird! Frankiextah, you are very lucky to live so close to the shop. Mine is just the 811, not the Adrianna, which Leon explained to me is more delicate. I guess your band and halo will be a bit thicker. I think my halo is probably 1.3 or 1.4 mm. I will try to take a picture of the profile later.

oh wow, never knew that there is a difference between that ... thought 811 Adrianna is just that one style !

i do notice that your 1.5mm band and halo are a bit more delicate, i see that LM used fishtail pave for yours and according to him during my meeting - fishtail can only look good if the band and halo are 1.5mm or less in width (and yes he's right yours is OMG amazing). i requested for my band to be 1.8mm, and he told me to let him gauge the width of the halo, so i would guess that the halo would somehow match closely, probably around 1.6mm or so...

I think it's about 5 mm. It's hard to measure something so small! I didn't ask for it to be set higher than usual, so I guess it's the standard height of a halo setting.
