Another vote for veil #2. I consider it medium length since it is certainly not long. I think the first one is too short.

Hair will be curly or straight? I like that birdcage a lot. How would it fit in with the rest of your wedding?

If I had to go with the first ones you posted, I would go with the second. Its more flowy looking...
