I am looming for a 25th anniv diamond ring. My wife is fancy . I would like the appearance (maybe longer rectangular diamonds?) to be as if it were a solid circular diamond with a center hole. I call it a diamond donought. Is this possible? Thanks for reading. J

I'm not sure I can picture what you are explaining.

Are you perhaps saying it would look like a standard halo ring but with no centre stone?

Yes. Sorry for the poor explanation. To be clear I am suggesting the halo is diamond with no visible metal backing. Thanks for your response.

The value of a diamond ring like that would be entirely NOT apparent from the looks of it - a good prank, IMHO; such things WWW come close - who'd know what they are! I am not quite so prankish, but understand...
