Does VC do LM style diamond bubbles?

I managed to lose the post I just wrote, ugh. So I'm going to Break it down. I really like the work VC did on Frankiextah's altered Emilya halo setting, a clear preference for me over the Leon Meng and Steven Kirsche settings, and since VC works in driving distance from me it seemed a no brainer that my project would be with him. I have always wanted a halo setting.

Then I Saw Luv2Sparkles Ashley 313 by LM and love the "bubbles" on the - is it a basket or a cathedral or a gallery? I need a vocab lesson but the profile shot will show you what I loved and prefer over the Emilya. I also liked the double claws and how they sort of sparkled- lovely.

I also need some help deciding which stone will be a halo, I currently have an approx. 1.25 OEC Ering worn with two bands that have about 1.75 of melee throughout the three rings. I've started wearing the Ering on one hand and the wedding bands on another because I think they compete with the main diamond- long story but I didnt have much input on the setting and have some bad feelings towards the woman who set the stone I am about to discuss knits current setting because she originally set my Ering in a setting totally differnt from what I eques tend and made fun of me for wanting platinum and bc of her connection to my family I wasn't allowed to say a thing so O had to go elsewhere and just get what I could get and do it fast.
I recently inherited a 5 carat round (would love any info you can give me on the cut- OEC or otherwise, I'll try just looking at it next to my Ering- before I came here I thought it was a round brilliant, a Jewelertold me he hardly saw any old European diamonds of such quality. I thought he meant it was a really old stone from Europe.) I don't know if I should set the 5c as an ering an "upgrade"(which is the way I am leaning- my mom always told me to use the good china everyday) and set my OEC as a RHR- even something like the VC Art Deco Baguettes and Halo style which would help with finger coverage since I think my short fingers and big knuckles are not showing her to advantage currently or even as a pendant (my ultimate goal is to have an Ering and w band that I love, a pair of diamond studs for everyday wear and an everyday solitaire pendant but something about not looking at my OEC on my hand and passing it down as a ring makes me a little sad-though gma wore it as a pendant). We live in an area where no one would care if I wore a 5 c ring everyday and I figure. I could get a great eternity ring- have seen some I adore here to wear when the ring is impractical. I have two small kids and someday will start riding horses again so I don't want the stone to get wrecked- g-ma always said she bezel set it the second time around to deter thieves and protect the stone so maybe I should consider that- the way it is set now just seems to show very little of the diamond and I like naked sparkling.
I think the band is too thick for my finger length and too small for my knuckle size. I wonder if it will offend my family if I reset it- even though I will wait more than a year after she has passed. I also wondered if I could have the bezel "head" removed and the band saved for my mother to wear since it fits her. G-ma reset and seemed to be in favor of wearing things as they pleased so.... I am hopeful.

Will a halo look overwhelming on a 5 c stone on my finger? I figure I can try a few on in VC's shop to get a feel.
Any suggestions or education you can give me are welcomed- just go easy since I'm starting out and may be making some unintentional doozy mistakes.

Depending on your lifestyle I think a 5 carat in a halo could be too big to wear everyday.
Honestly, I would put the smaller stone in the halo to wear everyday. I do think the 5
carat needs to be reset. It looks very dark in that bezel setting. What color is it? I think
It might look better in an 8 or more pronged setting .

Have you studied the 5ct thread? PS member SB621 has a gorgeous 5ct stone in a halo setting, but hets is a cushion which looks more elongated. For me, a 5 ct stone in a halo would be too big. I love Arkieb's art deco setting with 8 prongs and special gallery. The stone will be well protected but allows a lot of light to reach the stone.

Your smaller stone would be great in the Emilya setting. Ask Victor for the Frankie style. Arkieb now has Frankie's halo by the way.
Victor is always open for new elements and designs but you need to ask him.

My AC is 5.06ct with a double prong emilya halo. I did the 4 stem basket but orginally VC and I were throwing around other designs for underneath. Ultimately I think his design is more contemporary then my style so I ended up going with the plain stems/ donut. You would need to talk to him about copying the LM version that you like. I don't see a problem as the Emilya is a copy of the Adriana from LM which is a copy of the The One from Harry Winston....
