Does Tiffany ever have "sales"?

I''ve heard something about an annual fall sale? Is this for all the Tif stores, or just NYC? If it''s even true...

Nope. They never do. I even had the *balls* to ask a SA that question years and years ago why they never had sales. She told me because it would ruin the image of Tiffany if they had sales because they need to uphold their reputation of being a good jeweler. If they had sales, then it would lessen the quality of the product.

But with the economy these days....and selling some/few SI1 diamonds...who knows, that might change.

No but they have started offering a lower clarity of stone in their rings, SI I believe which they never carried before. The also introduced multiple stone engagement rings into their engagement section - I''m not sure of the technical word but theyre the trick of the eye rings where 4 stones are placed to look like one larger stone.

yup, because she was showing my mom her Tiffany w-band that she got that day with 20% off and she knew how much I love Tiffany's so she told my mom that too bad I was out of town otheriwse I'll go insane!!

She told my mom that there was A LOT of people there that day at Tiffany counter.... My town only has a Tiffany within Holt Renfrew so it's not an actual Tiffany store that had the sale...

There's also a Tiffany counter in Vancouver's Holts and when I was there in 2006, Tiffany has opened a new store right beside that Holts...

I love Holts too.. and actually my office located right next to it so I can go over there during lunch to see some goodies

I just looked it up and there are Tiffany counters in Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal and Ottawa. Is there are stand-alone T&Co store in Calgary? If not, that''s probably why there''s the counter instead.

Back to the sale topic...I guess it was a department store sale but I''m shocked as well that Tiffany items weren''t excluded. Congratulate your friend on her find!
