Does this proportion look good to you?

I have a pair of WF ACA studs 0.623 ctw. Each stud is about 4.35 mm. I honestly love the size and how they look on my ears since I have limited real estate up there. They also seem to appear a bit larger IRL due to the quality. But lately, I’ve been on an upgrade fever. I am tempted to upgrade to 0.5 ct each now or in a year or so but I am concerned they might look a bit too much for my relatively conservative work environment and casual life style after work. I also don’t live in an area where you commonly see 2ct Erings ( mine is 1.59). I am trying to talk myself out of it. What do you think? **posting from my phone. I think they look great!! Your ears and hands are on the small side (such a blessing), so i wouldnt go much bigger, if I were you. But I think you could safely go up to .5 ct each and still have an everyday earring. My e-ring is 1.5 ct. and my earrings are .51 each, and i love the proportion!!

Yes! I think they will look beautiful and honestly, I think .50ct can still fit with a casual outfit, no problems!

I do like how they look and have been wearing them often for 4 years now when I don’t wear pearls or hoops. I just psychologically want to have 1 ctw all the sudden but not sure if I would like the look as much only because of my small earlobes.

I think you can certainly go to .50 without being too flashy. I think you would be very pleased with them in fact!

I agree! I think .50 each is a nice size and not too much at all. You certainly could wear larger than that. But you might be like me and upgrade gradually, a little at a time!

The ones you have now are lovely, but I think a 1/2 carat each is conservative. I have a 1/2 carat each, and I've recently come to appreciate that size even more because it's a standard size for matching halos and jackets, which helps with upgrade fever because I can just add a jacket to make them look bigger now and then.

@Linnie, first of all I am jealous of your small lobes! Your current studs look great but I think .5 stones would look in proportion and lovely on you.

I too think you can do .5 (1ctw) studs. I dont think they would look like too much. 1ctw is a great size.

Oh how I wish I had your lovely tiny lobes and thin fingers! I could probably wear a 5ct stone and still have tons of space left over on my ear!!

On a serious note I think your set (studs and ring) look lovely and classic, very nicely proportioned! That being said, I still think you could safely go up to 0.5ct each or even a little bigger if you wished and it would work well for your ear in all
settings - though your current studs look a nice size too

Yes!! This is another reason I want to upgrade to 0.5ct. They seem to fit into standard jackets better. Not that I have a lot of fancy events to go to but another option down the road.

Thank you! I wear sunscreen everyday consistently for about six months now. It really helps with skin texture and some sunspots I have accumulated.
