Does surface graining and twinning wisps impact light performance?

Hi All

Sorry this is a bit of a follow on from a previous stone I had posted. 1.3 3xE G VS2 58T 60.3D 33.5 crown 40.8 pav faint fluoro. I have been offered this diamond and it has various inclusions such as a feather, and twinning wisps on the table. However the comments section of the GIA report says “additional surface graining and twinning wisps not shown”

Is this a concern? Can either of these or in combination impact the light return of a diamond and give it a hazy appearance?

Further I attach the video of the stone for reference - any education on how to read these videos would be much appreciated!

apologies, please disregard the GIA certificate, its not the right one

They can and the only sure way to tell is an in person inspection.
When buying such a stone an in person inspection by a trusted vendor before buying is a good idea.

Colorless twinning wisps are some of my favorite inclusions. They can look horrific on the grading report, yet are very often completely invisible to the unaided eye.

As Karl_K says though, you MUST see the diamond with YOUR eyes to know if you can see them or not. If you can not see it prior to purchasing, please be sure you have a good return policy.

Wink

Just for my learni , Based on the attached video can you tell whether the diamond would have great lustre? Not sure if it’s the lighting but the stone looks a bit dull to me?
