Does anyone wear a knife edge band with a vintage ring?

Hey folks,

I've been wearing a platinum half eternity with my vintage illusion set ring but I'm thinking of asking for a knife edge band for Christmas. Honestly I can't make up my mind between some thin plain stacking bands in rose and white gold or a white gold knife edge. I have a yellow gold knife edge but it's too small and I can't get a visual since my other ring goes right over top of it!

So if anyone can show me this combo I would really appreciate it! Or if you have some plain thin stacking rings you wear with your vintage ER that would be great too. Thanks!

Can you show a pic of your set? I love vintage illusion diamond rings. Someone on here recently posted her pretty set..She mixed different vintage bands with her illusion ring..I love the way she put hers together. I’ll try to find it for you.

This ring has quite the story because I had found a diamond months ago and then bought this ring and since the diamond I found was better than the diamond it came with, I switched them! Chances of finding a diamond with almost the exact same dimensions for a setting like this is so slim it's amazing how it all worked out.

I'm thinking I want a really slim band to go with it. I like stacking but I find the diamond looks bigger with a slim wedding band.

Are you thinking of Foxinsox? She has an illusion ring and is always coming up with the best stacks for it. Her diamond is bigger than mine though

Ooooh It’s so pretty! I love the band you have with it..It’s perfect..I think a knife edge band would be too modern for your vintage ring...but that’s just my humble opinion..I always say get what you love and don’t worry about anyone else’s opinion because you’ll be the one wearing it. I would go with another vintage skinny band..I would look on eBay for a skinny vintage blossom band...What a story about your ring! So lucky!

I found it! @SparkleFest has an illusion ring set in yellow gold that I love. If you search for her you will see her bands.

Yes! I just saw her post last week she has an almost identical ring to mine except hers is Bluebird branded. She ha s really lovely rings
