Does anyone know which setting #1 is?
We finally had the stone appraised we were given, since we didn't know what we had and it came with no paperwork. It's from the 1950's or 60's and a transitional cut round brilliant, .52ct. The stone is very white, so I think it can stand alone (i.e., no Halo needed). I like the pave styles, but I also want a super thin band, actually a very delicate looking band in general. I like the 1.5mm widths. I tried on a 2mm band and it looked bulky (my hands are small). Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't like super thick looking prongs, would I be better off trying to have something custom made?
