Does anyone have a copy of the 2007 AGS article: "Evaluation of brilliance, fire, and scintillation in round brilliant gemstones."

Wow!
I can see why GIA (which recently bought AGS) wants to disappear this article.
The wonderful article is not very friendly to GIA's so called "EXCELLENT" cut grade. :knockout:

Now, let's see whether GIA tries to force WF into removing the article.

Just in case, I think I'll download now.

This article is like a treatise on optimizing the optical performance of round diamonds! I downloaded it too just in case.

(Sorry WF if GIA goes after you for hosting this!)

When the distinction is made about the AGS light performance cut grading system and other cut grading methodologies on the market - that the AGS system is scientifically peer reviewed- this is what they mean!

GIA has not made any attempt to get us to take it down. Furthermore, Jason Quick is one of the authors of this study and a key member of the development team, and he is still very much a part of the cut grading team now at GIA.
