Here is Barry''s first octagonal ''asscher'' stone! He doesn''t feel comfortable calling them asschers. I told Barry that there would be a nice demand for these octagonal shaped stones and warned him in advance.

This pretty is huge and it is VERY reasonably priced....I was shocked!

Lori, that is lovely. I just emailed him last night I''d love an aqua asscher but this shape would certainly work as well.

Great minds think alike. I am sad I haven''t heard back from him yet. I just signed up for his newsletter and he confirmed my email so since I was responding I said I''d wanted a 6mm medium blue aqua asscher. Maybe we''ll both get our wish soon.

LOL! I think he must have gotten a bunch of requests. I asked for a asscher blue topaz, no specific size. Also for a candy pink tourmaline, but this one will probably not be a go.

Mochi,
What colour and gem type did you request?

Marcyc,
An aquamarine should be very nice for this cut.

A blue topaz and a candy pink toumaline. But in reality, the pink toumaline may be for the future, he said it''s very pricey right now.

What do you think about a blue zircon?? I think that would be a very sparkly one..

Great ideas. Pink tourmaline, blue topaz, blue zircon, they would all be lovely. He''s probably setting there wondering what on earth did I get myself in to here?
