Do you wear your ring all the time?

Do you wear your ring all the time or do you remove it when doing most activities? I wear mine to sleep and generally all the time. Just curious how others are with their jewelery. I tend to wear everywhere, except the pool or the ocean, and only remove it when I am doing specific tasks that could damage the ring! I figure I should just enjoy my rings versus worrying about them. What is your routine?

I wear my rings out to work or to shops etc. As soon as I get home then all the rings are off. I don't wear rings to shower or sleep. I don't wear my ring doing anything manual like going to the gym.

My ring is the last thing I put on before leaving the house and the first thing I take off when I get home. If I am leaving the house to exercise I don't wear my ring. When I travel for work I wear it all the time except to sleep and then I put it in my coin/card purse so that even if I forget to to put back on, it doesn't get left behind in a hotel room.

I’m a 24/7 wearer too, mostly because my fingers & knuckles swell these days & I can’t get it off :lol-2:

I wear my eternity on the RH now, as 3 rings on one finger gets too much when I’m hot, but that comes off easier. I sleep in studs & pendant, but take those & the eternity off to soak & clean every couple of days. The Tiffany gets cleaned on my finger with less hot water! Makes my knuckle sore to keep dragging it on & off & I don’t want to make it bigger, as then it’ll just spin endlessly. Stupid aging knuckles!

I wear gloves for gardening & washing up etc.

I take all my jewellery off when I go to bed except for the Fitbit watch.

I normally take my rings off when I do the washing up and cleaning.

When I was married and was working in controlled environment, I could have kept my wedding plain Platinum band on as it did not have any stones, however, I preferred to take it off before I put gloves on.

DK :))

I haven’t worn my engagement ring in years. I got out of the habit after having a child, and now it seems in the way during daily life. I used to wear it daily, taking it off at bedtime or doing something that I thought could cause damage.

I wear them out of the house and sometimes in the house if I am not doing any housework or cooking. I do not want to take a chance of injuring my rings with heavy work or lifting. Sometimes when the sun and lighting are right, I take them outside for a sit so I can watch the light show!!

I dont wear my rings at home. I put them on when I go out and usually take them off when I get back home.

Last on, first off

Thank you for sharing. I was curious after talking to my mom about this subject. I do remove when I shower and when I clean the house.

SAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Darn my gorilla knuckles. I am pretty much 24/7.

I work out in the gym daily, i just wear gloves (and I have been consistently lifting weights for 34 YEARS, not once have a dropped a plate on my left hand), I wear gloves when cleaning or gardening.

I’m another of the careful wearers. I do wear them around the house when I work from home, too, but generally put them in when I leave and take them off when I go to bed or I have to do chores.

I'm a homebody. I work from home. You can be darn sure I wear all my rings at home. :lol-2:

I still take them off when I have to do stuff around the house. Don't care about sleeping with them, though.

I haven't ever dropped a plate on my hand but I did have a brand new ring with a wider band. I wore it to the gym (actually, it was pretty much the first time I wore it out) and the underneath of the ring got mashed against the weights bar. It wasn't noticeable to anyone else but it was marked enough that I could see. Lesson learned and I haven't worn a ring to lift weights again. Gloves would probably have soften the blow.

I tend to wear my plain gold wedding band all the time. And.... It shows. It definitely has a patina. I take off rings with stones as soon as I get home from work or wherever. I don't sleep in anything other than a plain band unless I totally have zonked out. For heavy outside work, I remove the band. For things like weeding or mowing the lawn, I leave it on. But heavier work, definitely take it off.

Twinsie’s! Only not, because your new HONKERS knock my solitaire out of the park all day long… :lol-2:

I wear gloves for lifting weights too, both to protect my rings & also to prevent them pinching where my finger joins the palm of my hand & making little callouses. Not very glam!
