Do you wear your ring all the time?

Same
I have my dh with me at all (most of the) times and he’s all the eye candy I need these days. LOL

This jewelry girl has always been a minimalist at heart despite the abundance of beautiful bling I own :)

LOL.

That said, I DO like to wear lippy and never leave the house without it (even in the pool and on my bike). And if any jewellery is worn it is earrings--they perk up a sun hat and bike helmet in the best way. I am an earring girl! :wavey:

I wear lipstick to bed and I have rings for mowing. the sun on a yellow moissy! they go purple and brown and weird sparkly.

Does lip gloss count? :)

Me too...but I don't wear earrings cycling as I have sensory issues but I do enjoy wearing earrings at other times

I left out many of my earrings here but this is what I could fit lol

But because this thread is about rings...

Now with the heat coming no way I am wearing any rings til the weather gets cooler :)

No lippy is ever counted out!

That's good because I never wear lipstick...it doesn't look right on me
Even at our wedding my hair dresser was incredulous I wasn't going to wear lipstick but I did wear lip gloss and I think it was perfect :)

What about housecleaning, cooking and outside work? I assume you wear gloves to do these chores? I am bad about not wearing gloves so I guess that is why I take mine off to do those kinds of things.

If I’m using harsh chemicals, I’d remove them, but typically I don’t use anything abrasive when I clean. Hubby does the yard work - he loves it, I hate it. Dishes are typically just rinsing and putting in the dishwasher. I’ve been wearing my rings so long that I’m very mindful they are there.

Yes we are earring girls. Always on the LOOKOUT!

Andria Barbone absolutely bodying her client showing these before and afters… I know none of the 24/7 queens in this thread would allow it to get to this point! The eternity band!!! Shocking!

Omg that's filthy. Did they fall in the mud or not clean it for 20 years lol.

I think also the pressure to take photos of our bling makes us more diligent with cleaning it. It's like having the motivation to clean your house when you know you have visitors coming lol.

Walk in the door, my rings are off. I put a plain thin gold band on for home and if I’m at a local beach. If I’m on holidays then I wear one of my diamond bands to the beach but the other band plus engagement ring are secreted away.

I like this idea. Wearable band for home.

Great useful tip for evaluating preowned rings w diamonds. They sometimes look terrible dark cloudy but often clean up well.

24/7 except for when using harsh chemicals or lifting weights.

I never take mine off. I should. I just never have...I got a new Tiffany tennis bracelet and also don't take it off (again, I know I should)

Well I'm not married and after 25 years I think I'm over due for any kind of ring

Mum always took all her rings off as soon as she got home but both mum and dad wore their plain gold wedding ringsc 24 7 and wore then to the grave

But mum was a bit naughty
Her pearls smelt of stale Elizabeth Taylor white diamonds so she didn't adhere to last on first off

LOL.

I uses to be an earring girl but I have worn a cap at work for many years (two different companies)
And I have post both fun and expensive earrings and have been none that impressed
I work in a bakery and I have to get apron straps over my head and I have had a few close calls loosing earrings
So now I'm a necklace girl !

I wear stud earrings (rotating through diamond, sapphire, garnet, etc.) and a plain platinum band all the time. Ering is on most of the time, but I take it off for super hard housework and hiking. That said, maybe my sparklies need a bath.... ;-)

Viv: absolutely all the time except lifting weights or doing anything messy in the kitchen.

Studs all the time except to bed. Pendant is also getting to be that way! I do wear these pieces to lift (except if front squatting or anything else with a front rack—then no pendant) and clean immediately afterwards.

The only pieces I sleep in are my love bracelet and small trinity chain bracelet.

My wedding band is plain platinum. I wear it day and night. I only take it off to swim, shower, or work out.

I have a lot of other rings, none of which I wear when I'm sleeping, doing housework or anything else messy, or exercising.

HI:

I just cleaned my jewellery--I'm SO bad cuz I never do it!!! Like forgetting to put stuff on in the first place!!! Looks nice tho....LOL

cheers--Sharon

The older I get the more minimalistic I get. I take everything off when I come home. When I go out I mostly just wear a simple band and earrings.

Still waiting to see your finished pendant!

Question for @Tonks and the others that wear e-rings most of the time, do you knock them around much?
I barely tap a prong and I’m, “omg!!” as I’m running off to get my loupe!
My MIL, rest her soul, wore a 2.5+ ct. 5-stone diamond ring. She never took it off even for gardening, in the pool, etc. Boy were those stones a mess, chipped and abraded. She lost the diamond out of her e-ring twice and managed to find it both times! Anyway, I only wear my e-ring when I leave the house and sometimes not even then.

I work from home and rarely wear my rings. I do chores at lunch so I was taking them off and on. Love putting them on when leaving the house

I rotate good and cheap rings throughout the week. The sonicator is always plugged in.

That’s me! If I think my ring hit anything, I run for the loupe! I do all that I can to avoid any possible damage and usually only wear it out of the house. Not that it guarantees anything, but I just can’t wear it to knock around in the house with cleaning and laundry and cooking!

I'm opposite . I put my head in the sand in denial. Then, much later, I take some liquid courage and get the loupe out. lol
