Will lab grown never fluorescent? I really wouldn’t know… why is this?

As far as I know, they can but not as frequently as earth mined. I doubt I would trust this method for a solitaire but for a cluster it just might work.

Per this article by IGI, 10% of the LGD they see have slight fluorescence, usually orange or yellow.

If you bought it from eBay and paid over 500 dollars, it should have gone through authentication and confirmed to be natural diamonds if that is what listing indicates.
GIA should have that machine.
